Type Chinese for Taobao searches and seller messages

Check each candidate before selecting it. For a difficult product name, use smaller word chunks or draw a character you can recognise. Add the actual model, material and measurements in the search; a matching keyword does not establish compatibility.
Insert a seller question with one click
Choose Online shopping in the scene menu. Click 你好，请问有货吗？ (“Hi, is this in stock?”), 包邮吗？ (“Is shipping free?”), or 这个有别的颜色吗？ (“Does this come in other colours?”). Edit the inserted text before copying it to the seller.
For sizes, do not rely only on an S/M/L label: ask for measurements and units appropriate to the item. Chinput is a typing tool, not a shopping agent or supplier-verification service. It has no affiliation with Taobao, 1688 or Alibaba.
Three ways to enter the text
- Pinyin: type one word or short phrase, check the candidates, then press Space for the first choice or its displayed number for another. If a phrase is wrong, split it into smaller parts. Full Pinyin is easier to check when starting out.
- Handwriting: open Draw and draw one character with a mouse, trackpad or touch screen, lifting between strokes. Select the correct local matching result. Undo removes the last stroke; Clear starts again. This is handwriting matching, not photo scanning.
- Quick phrases: choose the relevant scene below the editor. Its vocabulary gets priority and its phrase buttons insert ready-made text. Edit the result, click Copy, then paste where you need it.
Core Pinyin and handwriting need no account or input-method installation. Optional AI translation is currently disabled. Mainland China access has not been verified; save essential text beforehand.
